Leaving GitHub Pages for Neocities

If you’re currently reading this, the site is now hosted on Neocities! This change has a couple of benefits, intentional and unintentional. Intentional benefits include no longer relying on Microsoft and supporting neocities, a platform with a positive mission. Unintentional benefits include being able to push Jekyll to the limit - I’m no longer limited to the pre-approved plugins and can even start writing my own. This has huge potential for the OPAC side of my site. More to write once I finish migrating everything over!

Library Catalog/OPAC Experiment

I’ve been kicking around the idea of properly cataloging all of the books in my collection and setting up a website to lend them out, much like a library. I’m trying to see if jekyll can work for this purpose. You can see the work in progress OPAC under tiny-apps/opac/genre-tiles.html.
